Sends receiver audio to a Bluetooth speaker, headset or a car stereo with BT input.
We check this against your vehicle before it ships. Add your year, make, model and trim at the basket and we will confirm it or call you.
Any receiver with a 3.5 mm output, and any stereo, speaker or headset with Bluetooth audio.
Some vehicles have Bluetooth audio and nothing else — no aux socket, no usable USB source, and a sealed head unit you should not be taking apart. The BTL-05 turns the receiver’s line output into a Bluetooth source so the car pairs with it the way it would pair with a phone.
It runs the aptX low-latency profile where the receiving end supports it. That matters less for music and quite a lot for speech, where a lag makes a phone-in sound like a badly dubbed film.
It is also the simplest way to move a receiver around a workshop or a yard: pair it once to a portable speaker and carry the speaker rather than re-running an aerial.
