We check before we ship
Every order is matched against the vehicle details you give us. If a part will not fit, you get a phone call, not a parcel and a return label.
About us
Satellite Radio SM sells and fits car-audio and satellite-radio hardware — receivers, aerials, mounts, harnesses and power kits — and explains the part nobody else will explain for free.
The business exists because of a gap that is genuinely annoying. Satellite radio hardware is easy to buy and hard to specify. The information you need is scattered across vehicle handbooks, forums and menu trees that all use different words for the same thing, and the answer to “will this fit my car” almost always depends on trim level, which is the one thing nobody lists.
So we do the specifying. Send the year, make, model and trim, and we tell you what will physically go in, what needs a harness, and what will not fit without cutting a fascia. That check is free, it happens before anything ships, and it is the reason our return rate is low enough that we can afford to pay return postage when we get it wrong.
We are not SiriusXM. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by Sirius XM Radio Inc., nor by any vehicle manufacturer. We reference brand and vehicle names only to describe what a part is compatible with. We do not sell, activate, renew, change or cancel any broadcast subscription, and we do not take payments or issue refunds on any provider’s behalf — a plan is bought from the service provider directly, and where that is what you need, we will tell you so and point you back to them.
Because a dashboard is hard to describe in a search box. Somebody typing “my radio says no signal” cannot tell you whether the vehicle is parked in a garage, whether the aerial is on the roof or the parcel shelf, or whether the source button was pressed instead of band. Two minutes of questions usually settles it, and that call is free whether or not you have ever bought anything from us.
How we operate
Every order is matched against the vehicle details you give us. If a part will not fit, you get a phone call, not a parcel and a return label.
The setup guide is free, complete, and not gated behind an email address. Most of it is advice that means you do not need to buy anything from us at all.
We sell and fit hardware. We do not sell plans, take payments for a provider, or touch anybody’s account — and we say so on every page rather than in the small print.
