About the MNT-WSC
A suction cup gets a bad name because most of them are sold with a hard plastic cup that fails the first cold morning. This one uses a gel cup with a cam lock, which is the arrangement that actually survives a windscreen that goes from −5 °C to 40 °C in the same week.
The arm is 120 mm, long enough to bring the receiver down out of your sightline and back towards the centre console rather than leaving it stuck up in the swept area.
The gel loses grip when it picks up dust. It is washable — warm water, no detergent, air dry, and it comes back to full strength. Do not be tempted to replace it when it goes cloudy.
